Adelaide Eyelash Extensions
Eyelash Extensions have a wonderful way of making our eyes pop (and we are obsessed!), but so many of our clients often worry that they’re causing damage to their natural lashes. We’re here to reassure you that if you have your lash extensions applied by a good lash technician and take care of them, you do not need to take breaks from having them.
Maybe you want to go all out for an upcoming event (brides, birthday celebrations, weddings – you get the gist). Or maybe you’re regular who just wants reassurance that you’re not totally doing yourself a doozy by religiously have your lashes filled. Either way, we’re here to help.
If applied correctly – using the proper tools and materials, by a qualified lash extension technician, eyelash extensions should not cause damage to your natural lashes. The importance of finding yourself a good lash extension technician is hugely important – you need to know that you can trust them, the product they use and their skills. Here are a few checks to go through when choosing an eyelash extension technician:
1. They are fully qualified – they know what they are doing and do it often!
2. They have good reviews (Google, Facebook)
3. They are reputable
4. They do not rush the process
The aftercare of your lashes also matters a lot. If you aren’t prepared to treat your lash extensions with care, your lashes will not last as long or as nicely. You should avoid wetting your lash extensions for the first 24 hours after having them applied. Avoid any products that contain oil (we have a great lash extensions cleanser which is made specifically for this), don’t rub or pull at the extensions and brush them often. Making these a part of your daily routine is the kind of simple change that will ensure you aren’t damaging your natural eyelashes.
At Browz & Beauty, all of our beauticians across Adelaide, Darwin and Canberra are fully qualified in eyelash extension applications. We use only the best products and take our time applying the lashes, to ensure the best result for your eye shape and your personal preferences. We offer Classic, Hybrid and Volume eyelash extensions – each offering different results.
Classic Eyelash Extensions will give a more natural look than any other type. One lash extension is applied to each one natural lash, so the result depends on how many natural lashes you have. We probably wouldn’t recommend this if you have super sparse lashes to begin with. Classic lash extensions take approx. 60-75 minutes in the salon.
Hybrid Eyelash Extensions is the level up on Classics. This is a 50/50 combination of Classic Lash Extensions and Volume Lash Extensions – so it isn’t quite as much volume as getting a full set of Volume Lash Extensions, but it’s definitely going to give more drama than Classics. Hybrid lash extensions take approximately 90 minutes in the salon.
Volume Eyelash Extensions is all about volume (clearly). Multiple lash extensions ‘fans’ are applied to each one natural lash for a beautiful full look. This takes approximately 90 minutes in the salon.
